In the wake of New Year’s, cleanse programs are trending, stores are stocked with Detox Kits and the desire for a fresh start is hot. I want you to stay STRONG.
Don’t let your New Year’s ambitions give in to the “quick fix.” Resist the pills & packets that promise health and do what you know is good for you, eat well.
My New Year’s Challenge is to avoid the idea that you you can jumpstart your health by cleaning your colon, eliminating toxins or limiting calories. INSTEAD, feed your body life-giving nutrients.
Here’s what makes the eat
more, not less strategy so successful:
1. You dodge the deprivation/binge cycle.
2. You get ‘excited’ about
3. You gain momentum. Unlike

Don’t waste your New Year get-up-and-go on a diet or detox. If you need a New Year’s Challenge, one that will leave you deeply nourished and better equipped to feed yourself all year long, stick with me.
First, please understand, the measure of a successful eating “plan” is how well you transition to the REAL WORLD. Whatever you start has to be sustainable. So, start adding nutrition and reframe healthcare into little actions taken consistently.
The hard part will be setting aside TIME to grocery shop and have food on hand that’s satisfying and nourishing. Here’s a January plan: Reframe “cooking” into something you do once and eat three times. Take your blood sugar seriously, that means eating more not less. Cleanse your pantry & fridge not your body.
Avoid the “quick fix,” nourish the hearth instead.
